OCVY – In this modern era, technology is now constantly trying to enter the world of fashion. The entry of technology in the world of fashion is not just to increase the productivity of its users, but also wants to make the users look more fashionable, despite wearing high-tech accessories. The smartwatch is one of the technology lines that enter the world of fashion, giving the user a modern and fashionable impression.
One technology vendor that entered the fashion world is Mobvoi. Although not quite well known, Mobvoi is not a foreign name in the smartwatch segment. Last year, the smartwatch manufacturer officially made its debut with Wear OS (Android Wear) platform via Ticwatch E and Ticwatch S, both of which were offered at very competitive prices.
The Stunning Features of Ticwatch Pro
Seeing the positive response from the smartwatch market, Mobvoi once again introduced its newest smartwatch, Ticwatch Pro. As the name implies, this watch comes with a variety of excellent features in addition to monitoring the number of footsteps, checking the heart rate sensor and NFC to help smooth the electronic payments procedure.
Ticwatch Pro still runs the Wear OS operating system like the two previous series. The presence of a second screen is quite unique, which will be active only when the smartwatch is not being used, aka sitting quietly on the wrist. What is the use of this feature? That is to help increase the battery life of the device. This will increase battery life during the use. Ticwatch Pro is claimed to last 5 to 30 days of use.
Ticwatch Pro and Its Display Chronicle
This second screen is a transparent FSTN LCD panel, just like the one we commonly encounter on digital watches, positioned just above the OLED panel which is the main screen. So while we interact with the device, the active one is the OLED screen, but once we ignore it, the monochrome LCD screen will activate the displays with some information such as heart rate and so on.
When something touches the screen again, the OLED screen will be active again. According to Mobvoi, this unique method allows Ticwatch Pro to operate for up to two days nonstop. The effect is not much, but the implementation is believed to not interfere with daily use.
The Essential Mode on Ticwatch Pro
If you need more battery power, Ticwatch Pro also stores a feature called Essential Mode. When this feature is active, Wear OS will be turned off, so that LCD screen is the only thing that turns on. A number of features will still be active, such as the ability to monitor footsteps and heart rate, but not for notifications or payments via NFC before you turn off Essential Mode and return to Wear OS with a bootup time of about one minute.
The excellence of these outstanding features is perfect with the use of stylish designs. Ticwatch Pro user can still have a high fashion statement while becoming the center of attention. Mobvoi plans to sell Ticwatch Pro starting this summer for $ 300. There is a possibility that Mobvoi will also offer its variants that will be equipped with LTE connectivity.
